We have been working hard to bring the Waterloo Nine Elms website back into being after sadly losing our old '.org' address. We are pleased to report things have gone well and we are now up and running.
Waterloo Nine Elms Branch currently holds two domains names, they are ;
Both are identical and therfore there is no benefit using one rather than another. The first address is for the die-hards of the branch who don't mind typing, and the second is for those who have a job remembering long addresses!. For those that don't know, we are ASLEF branch 222. Both these domain name are registered seperately from the service provider meaning should things not work out, we will be easily able to point the new domains to a new host (less down time).

While looking through the visitor logs for this site, we noticed that some of our members use Talktalk or Carphone Warehouse as their broadband provider. We also noticed that each page they visited on this site was also visited moments later by a TalkTalk web robot. If you are with Talktalk or Carphone Warehouse you are being stalked!!!

Our three LDC candidates have been encouraged to supply a photo and election address. The reason being, Waterloo is a large depot spilt between two messrooms. We can not expect all our members to know each of the candidates, or what they stand for. We want all of you to know who is who, and want to encourage as many members as possible to vote in a knowledgable way.

This scheme is open to all candidates, but it is voluntary. So far, we have received all three photos and two election address's. DO check back here before the 10th of October (election day) and have a read as the final candidate may supply an address.

A member of our branch has written a small Excel file to help you work out your back pay. The tool doesn't work out the monies owed, but totals up the hours you are due making it easy to compare column by column what you have received in period 9 with the totals from period 1 to 8. If you would like to make use of this tool, Click here. Do read the instructions before changing any of the cells. While every effort has been made to add all the fields you can get on your payslip, there is a chance some may have been missed out. If you spot any omitions, please ask a member of the LDC to pass on the info to the webmaster who will in turn pass info on to the creator.
